Baseball Recap: Strafford's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

If Strafford was riding high fresh off their 10-1 takedown of Buffalo on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Strafford lost 12-6 to the Licking Wildcats on Saturday. The loss put an end to the Indians' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Strafford fell to 2-1. As for Licking, their victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Strafford will venture away from home to square off against Skyline at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Licking, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Licking Wildcats face off against St. James Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on the 31st.
