Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Trinity Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They blew past Heritage Academy 11-4 on Tuesday. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by seven runs or more this season.

Josh Partin made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out 12 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Henry Patterson, who went 3-for-4 with three runs and one RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Ethan Feddema was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

Trinity Christian's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for New Way Learning Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal.
