Softball Recap: Wolfe County Wolves vs. Hazard Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs

Wolfe County put the finishing touches on their seventh blowout victory of the season on Wednesday. They blew past the Hazard Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs 9-2. The win was nothing new for Wolfe County as they're now sitting on three straight.

Sami Noble made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off nine hits (and only one walk). Noble was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Abby Stone, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Reaghan Patton, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

On Hazard's side, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryleigh Griffith, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Braylynn Eddington, who went 1-for-3 with a stolen base and an RBI.
