Basketball Recap: Potomac Senior Panthers vs. Woodbridge Vikings
The Potomac Senior Panthers proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 30) but on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged Woodbridge out 50-48. Winning may never get old, but Potomac Senior sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Potomac Senior to victory, but perhaps none more so than Taylor Allen, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Miya Semenuk, who scored ten points.
Potomac Senior is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season. As for Woodbridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Potomac Senior will take on the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Woodbridge, they will head out on the road to take on the Sharks at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Charles J. Colgan will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
