Basketball Recap: Lampeter-Strasburg Picks Up Second Consecutive Victory

If Lower Dauphin wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Lampeter-Strasburg, they should've done a better job of containing Chase Smucker. The Lampeter-Strasburg Pioneers slipped by the Lower Dauphin Falcons 61-60 on Thursday thanks in part to Smucker, who went 9 of 22 en route to 26 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Lampeter-Strasburg's points.

Another player making a difference was Connor Kouterick, who posted nine points and six steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in steals.

The victory made it two in a row for Lampeter-Strasburg and bumps their season record up to 16-6. As for Lower Dauphin, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.
