Recap: Northwestern Warriors vs. Bethel Bees
The Northwestern Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their eighth straight defeat. The game between them and Bethel wasn't particularly close, with Northwestern falling 68-50. Northwestern has not had much luck with Bethel recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Northwestern lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ross Fultz, who scored nine points along with five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Bailey, who scored 14 points.
Northwestern has not been sharp recently as the team's lost 11 of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season. As for Bethel, their win bumped their record up to 5-13.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwestern will take on North Union at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in North Union's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while Northwestern has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road. Bethel is on the road again on Friday and plays Miami East at 7:30 p.m. on February 9th. Bethel has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
