            Volleyball Recap: Western Reserve Roughriders vs. Edison Chargers        
        
		
        
        
            After flying high against Crestview  last Thursday, Western Reserve came back down to earth. The Roughriders lost  3-0 to the Edison Chargers on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  3-2  back in September.
 The  defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive:  Edison scored at least 20 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-20,  25-23.
Western Reserve's offense was headlined by  Emma Hammond and  Drew Clemons, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from  Jamie Muenz and her 30 assists.
 Edison had a senior duo take command as  Stella Brown  had 19  digs and one  assist and  Paige McFadden  had 11  digs and ten  assists.  Peyton Bissell also deserves some recognition as  she  had her first  kill of the season.
Western Reserve's loss was  their third straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Edison, their record is now 10-13.
 Western Reserve does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Edison, they will be taking part in a tournament against Willard  at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Crimson Flashes will roll in looking for their  14th straight  victory, something the Chargers surely won't give up without a fight.
