Recap: Sam Houston Broncos vs. Pineville Rebels        
        
		
            
 After soaring to 57  points the game before, the Sam Houston Broncos were a bit more limited  in their  match  on Friday. They were outmatched by Pineville on the road  and fell  59-23. While losing is never fun, Sam Houston can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings  (they are ranked 102nd, while Pineville is ranked seventh).
 Sam Houston's  loss shouldn't obscure the performances of  Blaine Davey, who  scored 10 points, and  Kyren Talbert who  scored 5 points along with 6  rebounds. Davey scored a full 43.5% of Sam Houston's points, the fourth time in a row he's  earned more than a third of the team's points.
 Sam Houston's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Pineville, the  win for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sam Houston will take on Washington-Marion at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Pineville will have some time to savor their  win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Rapides at 7:00  p.m.  on December 12th.
