Volleyball Game Preview: Coral Gables Cavaliers vs. Miami Stingarees

The Coral Gables Cavaliers will square off against the Miami Stingarees at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Coral Gables got the win against Miami Beach by a conclusive 3-0. The Cavaliers haven't had any issues with the Hi-Tides recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

One reason for the win was Coral Gables' just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-14, 25-13.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Miami, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against JC Bermudez Doral by a score of 3-1 on Thursday.

Coral Gables' win bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Miami, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4.

Coral Gables was able to grind out a solid win over Miami when the teams last played back in September, winning 2-0. Will the Cavaliers repeat their success, or do the Stingarees have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
