Volleyball Recap: Dansville Comes Up Short

Dansville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Geneseo Blue Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-9, 25-20.

Geneseo can attribute much of their success to Ganelli Rodriguez, who had seven aces and two assists. That's the most aces Rodriguez has posted since back in October of 2024. Olivia Flint also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Dansville's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Geneseo, they moved to 11-9 with that win, which also ended their four-match losing streak.

As of now, neither Dansville nor the Blue Devils have any future games scheduled.
