Soccer Recap: West Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact West can now relate to. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wasatch Wasps on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, West can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Utah soccer rankings (they are ranked 38th, while Wasatch are ranked fifth).

West's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Wasatch, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-2.

West does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wasatch, they will square off against Granger at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Granger will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Wasatch surely won't give up without a fight.
