Football Recap: Make It Three in a Row for East/World of Inquiry

East/World of Inquiry had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 25-14 victory over the Canandaigua Academy Gray Wolves. That result was just more of the same for these two, as East/World of Inquiry also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

East/World of Inquiry had a senior duo take command as Junayde Richardson rushed for 177 yards and one touchdown while picking up 9.8 yards per carry and Amir Bush rushed for 139 yards and a pair of scores. Those 139 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Bush.

East/World of Inquiry was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 349 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to East/World of Inquiry's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Jamie Anderson, Michael Riley-Hawkins, and Tymere Gilbert, who each picked up one sack apiece.

East/World of Inquiry's record now sits at 5-2. As for Canandaigua Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
