Baseball Recap: Marionville Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Marionville finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They came up short against the Miller Cardinals, falling 14-0. The Comets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Marionville's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-8. As for Miller, they pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Cardinals beat Marionville by a score of 14-1 later that day.
