Basketball Recap: Leechburg Takes a Loss

Leechburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Brentwood Spartans, falling 69-30. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-53 back in January.

Leechburg's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Chase Henry, who posted ten points and five boards, and Brady Rollinger, who went 6 for 15 on his way to 15 points.

Even though they lost, Leechburg smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in December of 2024.

Leechburg's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Brentwood, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.

Leechburg has already played their next game (against Winchester Thurston), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Brentwood will face off against Northgate at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
