Softball Recap: Lenox Comes Up Short

Lenox lost against Creston back in July of 2020, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lenox's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Creston, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

Lenox will challenge Central Decatur at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cardinals have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.56 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of. Creston has already played their next matchup (against Earlham), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
