Penn Manor and Cedar Crest are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2022, but likely not for long. The Comets will venture away from home to square off against the Falcons at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Penn Manor is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.

Things were looking good for Penn Manor after they put the first run on the board on Thursday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Central York by a score of 8-7.

Roderyck Rafael was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. Ethan Transue was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Meanwhile, Cedar Crest came up short against Daniel Boone on Thursday and fell 11-7.

Chase Ruhl made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucas Schreier, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles and one run.

Cedar Crest's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Penn Manor, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.

Penn Manor skirted past Cedar Crest 3-2 when the teams last played on April 1st. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Comets since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
