With a playoff win on the line, Loveland rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They beat the Teays Valley Vikings by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 13-2. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 contests by six runs or more this season.

The win was the 12th in a row for Loveland, bringing their record up to 23-6. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Teays Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 21-9.

Coming up, Loveland will be taking part in a tournament against Anthony Wayne at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Tigers 3.2, the Generals 2.5) so any runs scored will be well earned. Teays Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
