Mosinee is 9-1 against Lakeland since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Indians will welcome the Thunderbirds at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Mosinee 2.7, Lakeland 2.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Mosinee is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Antigo just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Red Robins by a score of 4-3. Indians fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Red Robins since on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Lakeland entered their tilt with Waupaca on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Comets by a score of 11-6. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Thunderbirds considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

Mosinee's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 13-4. As for Lakeland, their win bumped their record up to 14-6.

Mosinee was able to grind out a solid victory over Lakeland in their previous matchup two weeks ago, winning 4-1. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Thunderbirds have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
