Baseball Recap: Weston Ranch Comes Up Short on the Road Against Manteca

Weston Ranch kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Manteca Buffaloes, falling 17-0. If the Cougars were looking for revenge after losing 10-0 to them when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Weston Ranch saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was JoseLuis Suarez, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Looking ahead, Weston Ranch will square off against Lathrop at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Manteca, they will take on Los Banos at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
