Softball Recap: Sparrows Point's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Sparrows Point waltzed into their game on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Carver A&T Wildcats with a sharp 17-4 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Pointers have posted against the Wildcats since May 15, 2019.

The team relied heavily on Chloe Fields, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Allie Roberts, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Sparrows Point now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Carver A&T, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-9.

Looking ahead, Sparrows Point will venture away from home to square off against Eastern Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Carver A&T, they will square off against Towson on Tuesday.
