Softball Recap: Shelley Russets vs. Grand County Red Devils
Shelley won against Carbon on Saturday with nine runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. The Shelley Russets put the hurt on the Grand County Red Devils with a sharp 9-3 win. That six run margin sets a new team best for the Russets this season.
Shelley let Emersyn Drollinger and Kennadi Mitchell run wild. Drollinger scored two runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances, while Mitchell scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Those runs were Mitchell's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Carlie Hurd, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.
