Basketball Recap: Montclair Kimberley Academy Takes a Loss

Montclair Kimberley Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 64-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Glen Ridge Ridgers. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 368th, while the Ridgers are ranked 159th).

Montclair Kimberley Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Glen Ridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Montclair Kimberley Academy and Glen Ridge are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Montclair Kimberley Academy will face off against Saddle River Day on February 28th. One thing working in Saddle River Day's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches. As for Glen Ridge, they will square off against Whippany Park on February 26th. Whippany Park will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Glen Ridge surely won't give up without a fight.
