Baseball Recap: Flint Hill Extends Winning Streak to Three

While Flint Hill's win against St. Andrew's Episcopal wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Huskies skirted past the Lions 5-4. The victory was nothing new for the Huskies as they're now sitting on three straight.

Marshall Johnson tossed a big game, tossing six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Brennan Lublin was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 3-for-3. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Jake Blazejowski also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Flint Hill's record now sits at 12-4. As for St. Andrew's Episcopal, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-9.

Flint Hill will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Lions: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
