Volleyball Recap: Bradshaw Christian Takes a Loss

Bradshaw Christian came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the El Dorado Cougars. The Pride have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Bradshaw Christian was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made El Dorado work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 26-24, 25-21.

El Dorado's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cameron Lewis led the charge by getting 11 digs and one assist. Austin Howser was another key player, getting 14 digs.

Bradshaw Christian's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for El Dorado, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-10.

As of now, neither Bradshaw Christian nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
