Basketball Recap: Carlisle County Drops Season-High Score on Fulton City

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Carlisle County). They blew past the Fulton City Bulldogs 82-48 on Thursday. The Comets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 20 points or more this season.

Carlisle County found their leader in sophomore Wyatt Rickard, who almost dropped a double-double with 33 points and nine boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rickard has scored all season. Heath Mcbride was another key player, going 5 for 10 on his way to 11 points and five rebounds.

Carlisle County was working as a unit and finished the game with 25 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in March of 2024.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kaybrun Burton, who posted 16 points in addition to three steals and three blocks. Another player making a difference was Jamarion Jackson, who earned ten points and five boards.

Carlisle County now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Fulton City, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.

Carlisle County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 61-49 loss against Ballard Memorial on the 7th. Fulton City has also already played their next game (against Fulton County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
