Baseball Recap: Hinton Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Hinton's offense. They fell just short of the Frederick Bombers by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. The game marked the first time this year in which the Comets were not able to get on the board.

This is the second loss in a row for Hinton and nudges their season record down to 2-5. As for Frederick, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Hinton will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Amber-Pocasset at 4:30 p.m. on March 24th. As for Frederick, they have already played their next match, a 7-6 win against Comanche on the 13th.
