Baseball Recap: El Camino Real Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Birmingham, El Camino Real was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cleveland Cavaliers, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Royals have posted since February 19th.

Parker Hamilton looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has become a key player for El Camino Real: the team is 3-1 when he allows at most one hit, but 2-4 otherwise.

The victory got El Camino Real back to even at 5-5. As for Cleveland, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Looking ahead, El Camino Real will square off against Taft at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cleveland, they will take on Granada Hills Charter at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The last four games Cleveland has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
