Softball Recap: Bishop Moore Comes Up Short

The Bishop Moore Hornets lost 17-6 to the Tohopekaliga Tigers on Tuesday. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bishop Moore's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Tohopekaliga, they pushed their record up to 8-6 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Bishop Moore will challenge Apopka at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Blue Darters will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Hornets surely won't give up without a fight. As for Tohopekaliga, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against St. Cloud at 6:00 p.m. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
