Volleyball Recap: Niles Takes a Loss

Niles lost against Lakewood back in November of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Niles fell 2-0 to Lakewood.

Niles' loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Lakewood, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-3.

Looking ahead, Niles will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Dowagiac at 6:00 p.m. on September 4. As for Lakewood, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Eaton Rapids at 6:00 p.m. on September 9. The contest will give the Vikings their first taste of in-conference action this season.
