The Selinsgrove Seals are taking a road trip to challenge the East Juniata Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Selinsgrove is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.6 goals per game this season.

Selinsgrove is coming into the matchup fresh off a high-scoring shootout with Altoona that saw the pair combine for 26 shots on goal. The Seals fell just short of the Mountain Lions by a score of 4-3 on Saturday. Selinsgrove's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

They hit Altoona with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Madison Merrell, Addison Wenzel, and Joslyn Zacharda.

Meanwhile, East Juniata hadn't done well against Susquenita recently (they were 0-8-1 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Tigers narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Blackhawks 3-2. The win was familiar territory for East Juniata, who have now won five contests in a row.

East Juniata now has a winning record of 8-7-1. As for Selinsgrove, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-3.

Selinsgrove beat East Juniata 4-2 when the teams last played back in September of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Seals since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
