Volleyball Recap: Carlisle County's Undefeated Season over After Six Games

Carlisle County lost against Marshall County back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Comets took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marshals. The matchup marked the Comets' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Carlisle County fell to 5-1. As for Marshall County, the victory was the fifth in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Carlisle County is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Graves County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marshall County, they will face off against Christian Fellowship at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Marshals are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
