Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask White Castle). They put the hurt on the North Iberville Bears with a sharp 23-1 victory on Wednesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Bulldogs as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Mia Williams was a standout: she scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Justine Wilson, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

White Castle's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for North Iberville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.

White Castle wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 21-7 loss against Woodlawn-B.R. on the 3rd. North Iberville has also already played their next contest (against Scotlandville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
