Berean Christian had lost three straight on the road, but on Thursday they dropped down to 9-15 to make it four. They lost 11-3 to the Northgate Broncos. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by exactly eight runs.

Zack Upshaw made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Berean Christian is 2-1 when Upshaw posts one or more home runs, but 7-14 otherwise.
