Loyola Academy's rock-solid defense showed up for the team's sixth consecutive shutout on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Saint Ignatius College Prep Wolfpack a 20-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Ramblers, who have now won nine matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.

Loyola Academy is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.1 points on average over those games. As for Saint Ignatius College Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-8.

Coincidentally, Loyola Academy and Saint Ignatius College Prep will both be playing Resurrection the next time they take the field. The Ramblers will host the Bandits at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Wolfpack will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
