Soccer Recap: Palisades Comes Up Short

Palisades entered their game against Northwestern Lehigh on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Pirates came up short against the Tigers, falling 8-2. While losing is never fun, Palisades can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 219th, while Northwestern Lehigh are ranked 49th).

Blake Oglialoro and Sean Camp scored both of Palisades' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Palisades' defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Northwestern Lehigh, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Coming up, Palisades will venture away from home to face off against Catasauqua at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Northwestern Lehigh, they will welcome Central Columbia at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
