Basketball Recap: Prospect Heights Comes Up Short

Prospect Heights lost against Brooklyn College Academy back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Prospect Heights Cardinals came up short against Brooklyn College Academy, falling 69-49. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 398th, while Brooklyn College Academy are ranked 176th).

This is the second loss in a row for Prospect Heights and nudges their season record down to 7-5. As for Brooklyn College Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.

Prospect Heights does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Brooklyn College Academy, they will be playing at home against Frank J. Macchiarola at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Frank J. Macchiarola's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games.
