Basketball Game Preview: Eastmont Wildcats vs. West Valley Rams

The Eastmont Wildcats just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the West Valley Rams at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

On Friday, Eastmont was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 71-70 to Eisenhower.

Meanwhile, West Valley entered their tilt with Eisenhower on Saturday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They enjoyed a cozy 69-51 victory over the Cadets.

West Valley is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points per game. As for Eastmont, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.

Eastmont ended up a good deal behind West Valley in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, losing 60-43. Can Eastmont avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
