Basketball Game Preview: Renaissance Academy Knights vs. Lehigh Valley Academy Jaguars

On Tuesday, Renaissance Academy came up short against Delaware County Christian and fell 44-33. The defeat continues a trend for Renaissance Academy in their meetings with Delaware County Christian: they've now lost three in a row.

Despite the loss, Renaissance Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Addison O'Neill posted 11 points. O'Neill also set a new season-high mark in shooting accuracy with 57%.

Meanwhile, Lehigh Valley Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 48-14 win over Nativity BVM. The victory continues a trend for the Jaguars in their matchups with the Green Wave: they've now won three in a row.

Renaissance Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Lehigh Valley Academy, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.

Renaissance Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Lehigh Valley Academy in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 47-41 victory.
