Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Ridgeland Panthers by a score of 3-1. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Gio Perez and Anthony Velasquez scored all three of Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.
