Softball Recap: J.L. Mann Takes a Loss

J.L. Mann was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 14-0 to the Greenville Red Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-0 back in March.

J.L. Mann's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Greenville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. J.L. Mann will challenge rival Greenwood at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Greenville is set to square off against their familiar foe Hillcrest at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Red Raiders are on a three-game streak of home losses, and the Rams a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck.
