Softball Recap: West Springfield Spartans vs. Robinson Rams
West Springfield won against Robinson on Tuesday with seven runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Spartans walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Rams. Winning may never get old, but the Spartans sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Andrea Yagui spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on five hits and racked up 13 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances.
