Baseball Recap: Monument Valley Takes a Loss

Monument Valley fell victim to Chinle and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 11-0 to the Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-0 back in March.

Monument Valley's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Chinle, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.

Monument Valley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 12-2 victory against San Carlos on the 10th. As for Chinle, they have also already played their next contest, a 19-1 win against Window Rock on the 9th.
