John McDevitt posted a new career-high in home runs on Thursday. He fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 3-for-4, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also scored two runs, which is notable because South Plantation is 3-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 3-8 otherwise.

McDevitt and South Plantation will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Monarch at 3:45 p.m. on April 1. South Plantation hasn't beaten Monarch recently, having gone 0-3 since February of 2017.
