Baseball Recap: Cambridge-Isanti Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Cambridge-Isanti's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres on Monday. The Bluejackets haven't had much luck with the Sabres recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Cambridge-Isanti's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cambridge-Isanti will venture away from home to challenge St. Francis at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Fighting Saints' pitching crew has only allowed 2.1 runs per game this season, so the Bluejackets' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Sartell-St. Stephen, they will head out to square off against Alexandria at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cardinals will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Sabres surely won't give up without a fight.
