11 must be Wilson Memorial's lucky number: they beat Alleghany with that score not once but twice on Wednesday. The Green Hornets beat the Cougars by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 11-1. The result was nothing new for the Green Hornets, who have now won ten games by six runs or more so far this season.

The win (which was Wilson Memorial's third in a row) raised their record to 14-7. Admittedly, the team didn't face the toughest opposition across those games, namely Alleghany, they, and Staunton. As for the Cougars, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-13.

Looking ahead, Wilson Memorial will welcome Staunton at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Alleghany, they will square off against Radford at 12:00 p.m. on Monday.
