Softball Recap: Indiana School for the Deaf Takes a Loss

Indiana School for the Deaf was the 19-4 winner over Horizon Christian when they last played one another back in April of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Deaf Hoosiers lost 25-3 to Horizon Christian on Thursday.

Indiana School for the Deaf saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tiana Starayev, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Indiana School for the Deaf's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Horizon Christian, their victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0.

Looking ahead, Indiana School for the Deaf will host Waldron at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Horizon Christian, they will head out to challenge Park Tudor at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
