Volleyball Recap: Beauregard Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Beauregard hadn't done well against Central recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Hornets blew past the Red Devils 3-0. Winning may never get old, but the Hornets sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Beauregard didn't let Central take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-22, 26-24.

Madison Preston paced Beauregard's offense, picking up ten kills. Preston got some help from Kam Torbert and her 12 assists. Anna Marie Conway controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Beauregard's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Central, their loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5.

Coming up, Beauregard will face off against Elmore County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Central will be paying especially close attention to the Hornets' match: after the Hornets face off against Dothan, they'll take on Central again at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
