Soccer Game Preview: Peabody vs. Dyer County

The Peabody Golden Tide are taking a road trip to take on the Dyer County Choctaws at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Peabody took on Union City in their season opener and it was just the start the team was looking for. Peabody had just enough and edged out Union City 3-2.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Dyer County was forced to settle for a draw. They and Tipton-Rosemark Academy finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw on Saturday.

Peabody beat Dyer County 2-0 when the teams last played back in March of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Peabody since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
