Softball Recap: Marshall Comes Up Short

After flying high against USC-MAE last Monday, Marshall came back down to earth. The Barristers fell 3-0 to the Arleta Mustangs on Thursday. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Barristers were not able to get on the board.

Marshall now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Arleta, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-4 record.

Marshall will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lincoln at 3:00 p.m. on April 15. As for Arleta, they will be taking part in a tournament against Canyon at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Cowboys will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
