After failing to score in their last game, Southridge made sure to put some goals up on the board against Varsity Opponent on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over Varsity Opponent. Considering the Spartans have won four matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Southridge's victory bumped their record up to 7-1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southridge will be home for the holidays to greet Ferguson at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ferguson's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Varsity Opponent, they will be taking part in a tournament against McClatchy at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
